Day 6: Dealing With Negativity

Scripture: Isaiah 26:3 “You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.”

Exercise:

Prayer: Listen to or read the prayer below.

“Dear God, Negative emotions and thoughts often take over my mind. They pop into my mind and shift my entire perceptions. I am no longer allowing comparison or my lack of confidence control  to me. For so long I’ve tried to battle these feelings alone not realizing that this is a battle of the spirit not the flesh. I need your help to fight the evil spirit in my mind. I refuse to play the victim any longer. I refuse to keep throwing myself a pity party. I refuse to accept the negative titles that my friends, family or peers try to attach to my name. I am qualified to follow my dreams. I am ready to tackle my goals. I don’t need approval from anyone else us, but you God. I am no longer accepting that I can’t do the things that I desire. I am no longer hiding in fear. I am ready to blossom. I am ready to do everything that I’ve ever dreamt of. I’m taking off the layer of fear. I am ready to manifest and blossom into the beautiful flower that you’ve called me to be. I’m sick of playing small out of fear of failure. I am capable through your strength alone. In Jesus name I pray, Amen!”
